1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of Yaadlink Shipping and Courier JA (“Yaadlink”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.


2. Scope of Services

Yaadlink provides international and local courier, shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery services. Services include, but are not limited to, package consolidation, air freight, sea freight, and online order deliveries.


3. Limitation of Liability

Yaadlink shall not be held liable for:

  • Lost, delayed, or damaged packages caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, acts of God, or force majeure.

  • Customs duties, taxes, or penalties imposed by government agencies.

  • Incorrect customer information such as names, addresses, or contact details.

  • Prohibited or undeclared items resulting in seizure, confiscation, or penalties.

Yaadlink is not responsible for consequential, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of income, business interruption, or emotional distress.


4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete shipping information.

  • Ensuring items shipped are legal, safe, and permitted under Jamaican law and the laws of the country of origin.

  • Payment of all fees, duties, and taxes associated with their shipments.

  • Inspecting items at delivery and reporting issues within 24 hours.


5. Shipping Estimates and Delays

All shipping timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs, weather, carrier operations, or incomplete documentation. Yaadlink is not liable for delays outside our control.


6. Fees and Payments

All fees must be paid in full before delivery. Non-payment may result in withholding of packages. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Packages exceeding weight limits

  • Customs processing

  • Storage (after 14 days of arrival)

  • Delivery attempts after two failed contacts


7. Insurance and Claims

Customers may opt for insurance coverage at an additional cost. In the absence of insurance, Yaadlink’s liability is limited to a maximum of JMD $1,500 per package, regardless of value.

Claims for lost or damaged packages must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 3 days of delivery or expected delivery date.


8. Prohibited Items

Yaadlink does not accept:

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives

  • Narcotics or illegal drugs

  • Live animals or plants

  • Currency, precious metals, or negotiable instruments

  • Perishable or hazardous materials

Shipment of such items is at your own risk and may result in confiscation or legal action.


9. Unclaimed Packages

Packages not collected or delivered within 30 days of arrival will be deemed abandoned. Yaadlink reserves the right to dispose of or auction such items to recover costs.


10. Changes to Terms

Yaadlink reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of Jamaica.
